Danish Mjød brews based on old Danish recipe. From Nordic mythology we know that mead is a drink for gods who were drunk on festive occasions. Mjød is a natural product that is brewed exclusively on honey. Quite a few spices are used; in our opinion it gives the best mead. Ribe Mjød is brewed in connection with the celebration of the oldest city in the north - Ribe 1300 years. The recipe has been prepared in collaboration with the Ribe Vikinge Center and it has been added to apple juice to highlight the fruit and give the meal a little more acid in contrast to the sweetness of the honey.
