These grapes are from Split Rock Ranch vineyard in Mendocino County, California. When Samantha first visited Split Rock Ranch to see the rows of organic Grenache that would go into the Poe rosé, she fill in love with the old vine Dolcetto. When she tasted the grapes, she was intrigued by the intense flavors of blueberry, plum, and strawberry - the fruit had bright acidity and crunchy tannin.
